Diethylene Glycol is a hygroscopic high-boiling glycol used as an industrial intermediate, solvent, heat-transfer component and in selected gas-dehydration or hydrate-control systems. Because of its toxicity, dedicated handling, traceability and strict prevention of cross-contamination are essential.
