Product overview

Potassium Diformate is a feed-grade organic-acid salt evaluated for feed acidification, preservation and hygiene support in premixes and compound feeds. Commercial selection should compare assay, formate and formic-acid balance, moisture, particle size, flowability and caking tendency. It is not interchangeable with calcium butyrate or sodium butyrate: the products occupy different formulation positions, and use must follow the applicable feed authorization and labeling rules in the destination market.

Function & Usage

  • Protect Feed & Support Shelf Life

Supports feed stability by controlling oxidation or microbial deterioration where the selected grade and local regulations permit. Typical uses: Feed acidification, Preservation and hygiene support, Premix and compound-feed formulations.

  • Acidify Feed & Carry Nutrients

Supports feed acidification, nutrient fortification or premix carrier performance according to the selected approved grade. Typical uses: Feed acidification, Preservation and hygiene support, Premix and compound-feed formulations.
