- Hazard / Transport:
- Pyrophoric when dry and capable of igniting spontaneously in air. Wetted commercial material is commonly transported as UN 1378, Class 4.2; it can also release flammable hydrogen on contact with acids. Keep continuously submerged and follow the exact SDS and dangerous-goods controls. Any UN number, hazard class or packing group applies only when confirmed for the quoted concentration and physical form in the current grade-specific SDS.
- Storage:
- Store tightly sealed and continuously covered with the declared liquid in a cool, secure and well-ventilated hazardous-material area. Never allow fresh or spent catalyst to dry; keep away from acids, oxidizers, heat and ignition sources.
