Product overview
Methylhexahydrophthalic Anhydride is a low-viscosity cycloaliphatic epoxy curing agent for electrical, electronic and heat-resistant resin systems. Color, viscosity, anhydride value, moisture and cure schedule should be confirmed for each formulation.
Function & Usage
- Repel Water & Hydrophobize Surfaces
Reduces water uptake or increases surface hydrophobicity in suitable mineral, masonry, concrete or coating systems. Typical uses: Low-viscosity epoxy curing systems, Electrical impregnation and casting, Semiconductor and electronic encapsulation.
- Encapsulate, Pot & Electrically Insulate
Supports potting, casting, molding or encapsulation systems used to protect and electrically insulate components. Typical uses: Low-viscosity epoxy curing systems, Electrical impregnation and casting, Semiconductor and electronic encapsulation.
- Cure & Accelerate Electronic Epoxy Systems
Provides curing or catalytic activity for epoxy systems, with latency, cure speed and thermal performance selected by formulation. Typical uses: Low-viscosity epoxy curing systems, Electrical impregnation and casting, Semiconductor and electronic encapsulation.
