Product overview

Organoclay Rheology Modifier is an organically treated clay family used to build thixotropy, prevent pigment settling and control sag in solvent-borne and selected waterborne coating systems. Polarity range, activation method and grinding sequence must match the resin and solvent package.

Function & Usage

  • Control Rheology & Water Retention

Controls viscosity, suspension, sag resistance or water retention in suitable coating and construction formulations. Typical uses: Solvent-borne paint thickening, Anti-settling and anti-sag control, Protective, marine and industrial coatings.

  • Build Industrial & Protective Coatings

Provides a binder, pigment, curing or performance function for compatible industrial and protective coating systems. Typical uses: Solvent-borne paint thickening, Anti-settling and anti-sag control, Protective, marine and industrial coatings.

  • Control Paint Rheology, Sag & Settling

Controls viscosity profile, application flow, suspension, anti-settling or anti-sag behavior in a compatible coating system. Typical uses: Solvent-borne paint thickening, Anti-settling and anti-sag control, Protective, marine and industrial coatings.
