Hydroxypropyl Gamma Cyclodextrin combines high water solubility with the larger cavity of gamma cyclodextrin. It is evaluated for encapsulating relatively large guest molecules in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, nutrition and personal-care formulations where conventional beta-cyclodextrin derivatives may not provide a suitable fit.
